Michelle Alias quickly fell in love with Modern and Contemporary dance when accepted as a Pre-Professional Company member of Northern California Dance Conservatory where she trained in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz until moving to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University as a Dance Major on scholarship. After graduating, she moved back to Northern California where she teaches and acts as an Ambassador Associate Director at Northern California Dance Conservatory. Currently she is choreographing independently with local professionals, doing project-based work, and dancing with Pneuma. Michelle shares Pneuma’s passion for plunging face first into the brokenness of the world and extracting from it what is either marred or beautiful, and above all, transformative.

Kayla Krough has danced with organizations ranging from Radio Disney to State Street Ballet Company in Santa Barbara. Kayla joined the preprofessional company at Northern California Dance Conservatory, and had the privilege of training under world-renowned Ballet masters,
Contemporary dance company directors, and Musical Theater artists. While there, she danced Titania in the ballet A Midsummer Night’s Dream and competed with NCDC at Youth America Grand Prix. She has also been honored with the responsibility of choreographing various musical
productions. Currently, Kayla dances with Pneuma Movement and is the recipient of the Music Department Scholars Award, a Choral Music Scholarship, and a Creative Arts Scholarship at William Jessup University. Kayla believes that dance is a direct language of the soul, and if she can touch the heart of one person while she does what she loves, it's all worth it.
